Terms and Conditions of Use
QuantCancha · Last updated: September 2026
This is a translation. QuantCancha is operated from Mexico and its binding contract is the Spanish-language version, Términos y Condiciones. This English text is provided for convenience. If the two versions differ in meaning, the Spanish version governs. Subscriptions are billed in Mexican pesos (MXN), this agreement is governed by Mexican law, and disputes are heard in Comondú, Baja California Sur.
1. Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions form a binding contract between you and QuantCancha, with its address in Comondú, Baja California Sur, Mexico, hereinafter "QuantCancha".
By creating an account you declare that you have read, understood and fully accepted them. If you disagree with any clause, do not create an account and do not use the platform.
2. What QuantCancha is, and what it is not
QuantCancha is a statistical analysis platform covering National Football League competition. It provides quantitative models, public historical data, probabilistic projections and visualization tools.
QuantCancha is NOT a sportsbook. It does not accept, place, broker or settle wagers of any kind. It does not hold user funds, does not act as an agent and takes no part in any wagering activity within the meaning of Mexico's Federal Gaming and Raffles Act. It is a provider of analytical information, and nothing more.
QuantCancha does NOT provide investment advisory services. It is not an investment adviser, financial institution, broker or securities intermediary, and it is not regulated as such by any financial authority.
3. Risk warning · Read it in full
This is the most important clause in the contract.
3.1 The nature of the information
Everything QuantCancha publishes — probabilities, projections, scenarios, signals, indicators, expected-value readings and every other figure — is the output of a statistical model applied to historical data. It describes what happened in the past and estimates what could happen, with uncertainty. It is not a prediction, not a recommendation, and not an instruction to risk money.
3.2 What the model has measured about itself
QuantCancha subjects its models to out-of-sample validation and publishes the results even when they are unfavorable. You should know these figures before making any decision:
- Across 163 games in which the model departed from the market line, the model was right 38.7% of the time and the market 61.3% (p = 0.0047). When this model says something different from the market, the one that is most likely wrong is the model.
- Following its expected-value signals across 1,927 bets at real odds, the return was −8.53%, with the entire confidence interval below zero.
- Applying the Kelly criterion to this model's signals, a simulated bankroll of 1,000 units ends at 0.00.
- Regressing the actual margin on the closing line and on the projection gives the model a coefficient of −0.012 with t = −0.11: statistically indistinguishable from zero.
These figures are shown inside the platform and are not hidden. A disagreement between the model and the market is not an opportunity: it is the scenario in which the model is wrong most often.
3.3 Full assumption of risk
You expressly acknowledge and accept that:
- Any decision to risk money is yours alone, made on your own judgment, on your own account and entirely at your own risk.
- QuantCancha guarantees no profit of any kind, now or in the future, expressly or by implication. No figure, color, label or text on the platform may be read as a promise of a result.
- Past performance does not predict future performance. A model calibrated on previous seasons may fail systematically in the next one.
- You bear full responsibility for your capital, including its partial or total loss.
- QuantCancha, its owners, contributors and suppliers shall not be liable under any circumstances for financial loss, lost profit, consequential loss or damage of any nature arising from decisions you make based on information from the platform.
3.4 Responsible gambling
The platform is intended exclusively for people 18 years of age or older. By creating an account you declare that you are.
If gambling has stopped being entertainment for you, or if you are risking money you need for something else, stop using this platform and seek professional help. No statistical model fixes a gambling problem, and using one to justify larger bets makes it worse.
4. User account
- You must provide truthful information when registering and keep it current.
- Your account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials, reselling access or allowing use by third parties is grounds for immediate cancellation.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscription, billing and refunds
5.1 The two plans
Pro is purchased either way, at your choice. In addition, QuantCancha may grant free, temporary access under the terms of Section 5.7:
| Plan | Amount | Billing | Valid until |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription | MX$299 | Recurring, every month | Until you cancel |
| 2026 Season Pass | MX$899 | One-time payment | February 15, 2027, inclusive |
Both amounts are in Mexican pesos and include taxes. Billing is in Mexican pesos. If your payment method is denominated in another currency, the amount charged will depend on your bank's exchange rate and on any international transaction fee it applies, neither of which QuantCancha controls.
The 2026 Season Pass grants access to the same Pro features from activation through February 15, 2027 inclusive — a period covering the regular season, the playoffs and Super Bowl LXI.
The price of the pass is the same whatever the purchase date. Buying it late in the season does not reduce the amount or prorate the access: the end date is fixed and the same for every user.
5.2 Processing
Billing is handled entirely through Stripe, Inc. QuantCancha does not store and has no access to your card details, as set out in the Privacy Notice.
5.3 Automatic renewal, and what does NOT renew
The monthly subscription renews automatically each period, charging the payment method on file, until you cancel it. By subscribing you expressly authorize these recurring charges.
The Season Pass does NOT renew. It is a one-time payment: it generates no further charges of any kind, leaves no standing authorization against your payment method, and there is nothing to cancel. On February 16, 2027 your account automatically returns to the free plan, keeping your history and your data.
If you want to keep Pro access after that date, you will need to purchase it again. We will remind you by email before it expires.
5.4 Cancellation
Monthly subscription. You may cancel at any time from the subscription management portal or by writing to hola@quantcancha.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: you keep access until that date and no further charges are made.
Season Pass. There is nothing to cancel, because there is no future charge. You may close your account whenever you wish under Section 11, but that does not entitle you to a refund of the pass, per Section 5.5.
5.5 Refund policy
No refunds are given for partial periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, the unused portion is not returned; instead, you keep full access until the end of the paid period.
The same applies to the Season Pass: once activated, the unused portion is not refunded, in whole or in part, whatever use you have made of the service or the point in the season at which you bought it.
No refund is due for not using the service during a billed period, nor because the results obtained did not meet your expectations — which follows from Section 3: you are not paying for results, you are paying for access to analysis tools.
The above applies without prejudice to the non-waivable rights granted to consumers by Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Act, including duplicate charges, unauthorized charges, or prolonged unavailability of the service attributable to QuantCancha.
5.6 Price changes
Any price change will be communicated at least 30 calendar days in advance to the email associated with your account, and will apply from the next renewal period. If you disagree, you may cancel before that date at no additional cost.
A price change does not affect a Season Pass already purchased: the pass is paid once and its validity does not depend on later prices.
5.7 Free trial
When you create an account, QuantCancha may grant free access to Pro features for 15 calendar days from sign-up.
This period requires no payment method and generates no charge. When it ends, the account automatically continues on the free plan: there is no charge, no renewal and no subscription to cancel. To keep Pro features you must purchase one of the plans in Section 5.1.
QuantCancha may change or withdraw this offer for future sign-ups at any time and without notice. This does not affect trial periods already granted, which are honored until their end date.
6. Intellectual property
All QuantCancha content — the software, the quantitative models, the algorithms, the calibration methodologies, the derived databases, the text, the brand, the logo and the interface design — is the exclusive property of QuantCancha or its licensors, and is protected by Mexico's Federal Copyright Act, its Federal Act for the Protection of Industrial Property, and applicable international treaties.
The underlying sports data comes from public sources and belongs to its respective owners. What is protected is the processing, the modeling and the presentation, not the raw data.
Your subscription grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to consult the platform. It transfers no ownership rights to you.
7. Prohibited use and anti-abuse measures
The following are absolutely prohibited and constitute a material breach of contract:
- Using bots, scripts, crawlers, spiders, automated extensions or any automated means to access the platform or extract information from it.
- Performing web scraping, data mining or systematic extraction of the content of the NFL Terminal, the scenario radar, the decision cards or any other section, by any means.
- Downloading, copying or reproducing the processed data, the projections or the platform's tables in bulk or systematically.
- Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing, publishing or making QuantCancha content available to third parties, whether free of charge or for a fee.
- Reverse engineering or decompiling the platform, or attempting to infer the parameters, coefficients or internal logic of the models.
- Sharing credentials or allowing several people to access simultaneously under a single account.
- Interfering with the infrastructure, evading usage limits, circumventing access control to paid features, or attempting to reach areas or data outside your account.
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
7.1 Consequences
Detection of any of these behaviors entitles QuantCancha to suspend or cancel your account immediately and without prior notice, with no right to any refund of the current period, and without prejudice to the civil and criminal actions that may apply for the damage caused and for the infringement of intellectual property rights.
QuantCancha reserves the right to apply technical rate limits and to block IP addresses or accounts whose usage pattern is consistent with automated access.
8. Service availability
QuantCancha is provided "as is" and "as available". Although we maintain the service diligently, we do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free availability.
- The accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the third-party data we depend on — sports data providers, live scores or market lines.
- That the results of the analysis will meet your expectations.
We may carry out scheduled maintenance interruptions, and will try to give advance notice where possible.
Live scores come from public third-party services over which we have no control and no contract. Their temporary unavailability is not a breach.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuantCancha's total liability to you on any ground arising from this contract shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
QuantCancha shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss of data.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability arising from willful misconduct or bad faith.
10. Changes
We may amend these Terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 15 calendar days in advance. Continued use of the platform after they take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription under Section 5.4.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. QuantCancha may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms, under Section 7.1, or if it ceases to provide the service, in which case it will refund the unused proportional part of the current period.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States.
For the interpretation and performance of this contract, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Comondú, Baja California Sur, Mexico, waiving any other venue that might correspond to them by reason of their present or future domiciles.
The above is without prejudice to the consumer's right to bring the matter before the courts or authorities of their own domicile where the law grants them that right.
In consumer matters, the consumer may apply to Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) on the terms established by law.
